Well, it’s been quite some time. In 2002, I started a blog at dbthree.com that continued pretty strong until 2006 or so. Since then, I’ve lost interest and created half a dozen “false starts” at resurrecting the ol’ thing. Needless to say, I suppose this is yet another crack at the nut, but I’ve at least done a bit more this time than last.

Welcome to the new blog.

The idea this go around will be a slight departure from my previous blog. I’m going to run more of a commentary on the four major pillars of my life; politics, tech, sports, and arts (specifically television and film). You’ll see some other stuff sprinkled in as well, but those are going to be the big drivers and motivators for why I post.

I’ll still be sharing impressions of life along the way as well, but hopefully, I’ll have a tad more mature approach than the last blog.

Anyways, with tonight being the 83rd Academy Awards, otherwise known as the Oscars, I will be sharing my feelings and thoughts about the movies of the year.
